From Precision Brewing to Software Engineering

My path to development began in the high-stakes world of London's specialty coffee scene. What started in a local bakery evolved into a deep passion for the SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) standards, where I mastered the science of the craft.

Within a few years, I transitioned from student to educator—training new baristas, competing in latte art contests, and eventually stepping into the luxury hotel sector as a specialized trainer. My journey took me to Spain to deepen my knowledge of roasting and education, before finally landing in Finland to work as a full-time Coffee Roaster.

In code, I found the same blend of technical precision and creative potential that I loved in coffee. I saw an opportunity to build instead of just brew. This led me to Kood/Sisu, where I have spent the last year translating my discipline into the projects you see here.
